Unroll the Fun with Homemade Fruit Roll Ups!
A 90’s lunch time classic, the fruit roll up is still beloved to this day. This version takes a more natural angle. So pick your favourite fruit and make one of your favourite childhood snacks!

Ingredients:
8 ounces of strawberries
1 Tablespoon of lemon juice
3 Tablespoons of sugar
Instructions:
- Like a baking pan with baking paper and set aside.
- Take the stems off of the strawberries.
- Puree in food processor or blender until completely smooth.
- Put the puree in a saucepan and add the lemon juice and sugar.
- Turn on the heat to medium high and cook for 10 minutes.
- Stir frequently until it becomes thick and jammy.
- Turn oven to 80 degrees C or 170 degrees F or the lowest option for your oven.
- Spread the mixture into a rectangle shape as evenly as possible.
- Do not make too thin as it will lose some of the thickness in the oven.
- Bake in the oven for 3-4 hours until the it feel tacky and not still sticky.
- Remove from oven and cool completely.
- Once cooled, put on a cutting board. Do not remove the baking paper.
- Cut into long stripes and roll them up.
- Unroll and enjoy!
Notes:
You can use frozen strawberries for this recipe as well. Make sure to thaw them first and then start the recipe.
