The Terrys Chocolate Orange Eggs did not like being sea freighted across the Equator and we ended up with some damaged eggs. Still very yummy!
When we open a box of eggs, we immediately bag the good ones and the others are put into a sealed container.
Reasons why they are seconds....
- Eggs got bumped about and rubbed together, so some of the foil split and exposed the egg.
- The pressure of stacking multiple boxes has pressed down on the eggs and their shape is no longer oval.
